Description

A true blue water boat, Annabelle has been to Portugal, Germany and the Med. Current (3rd) owner purchased in 2015, single handed her on the Great Loop last year (shipping the masts ahead) and is ready for the next boat.

Annabelle is a cutter-rigged ketch, which allows for multiple headsails, in this case a larger jib and staysail, which provide enhanced versatility. The combination of both rig types offers excellent balance and makes it easier to handle sails, particularly for short-handed crews or when tacking and sailing downwind. This rig configuration can adapt well to different wind conditions, making it quite suitable for cruising and longer passages. The mizzen mast helps to lower the center of gravity, enhancing stability, which is beneficial in rough seas

Sails

  • Storm sail, track located on main mast track
  • Genoa 110 new 2019 by Sobstad, Rocky River (Cleveland)
  • Mainsail new 2019 by Sobstad, Rocky River (Cleveland)
  • Staysail, new clue, good shape
  • Mizzen needs replaced
  • Mizzen staysail
  • Roller furling on Genoa and staysail
